Emergency Gynecological Scan |

This scan is most commonly done when you have consulted your doctor with concerns about pelvic pain, lower abdominal pain or unusual bleeding. First we scan you through your tummy (transabdominal) followed by an internal (transvaginal) scan. Internal scans are invaluable in gynecology because the womb and ovaries are most easily seen by this method. An internal scan is very straightforward, not uncomfortable and only takes a few minutes. It is best to come with a full bladder so that we can look through the ‘window’ of the bladder at the pelvis. You will be asked to empty your bladder if an internal scan is required. For bookings information and prices please see our Prices page. |
“I wanted to thank you both once again for all your assistance earlier this year & last year.
It was wonderful to have your support throughout the pregnancy.”
