Terms and conditions

We ask for a £50 deposit to secure your appointment (and £100 for amniocentesis, CVS or fetal medical consultations, due to the specialist service required).  If you arrival late and cannot be seen on the same day you may lose your deposit.

When you pay

Scans are paid on the day of appointment. In the event that we cannot obtain 3D or 4D images of the baby the minimum charge will be £150 to cover the scanning time and preparation of the growth scan report.

Arriving for your appointment

You should arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so that you can be seen on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment you may need to have your scan on another day and forfeit your deposit.
Get the most out of your appointment and find out how to prepare for your scan.

Fee structure

All prices displayed on our website are displayed with a value prefixed as 'from'. This represents the lowest price that you will pay for any service when performed on a single pregnancy by one of our highly qualified sonographers during normal weekday business hours without any additional blood tests or genetic analysis.

We charge higher fees for multiple pregnancies, consultant appointments and weekend and early or late weekday appointments and for laboratory charges for blood tests and genetic testing.

Multiple pregnancy appointments require a longer appointment time and are subject to a higher fee. Please let us know when you book if you are carrying more than one baby – especially if you’ve had IVF treatment and multiple eggs implanted.

Weekend bookings and early or late weekday appointments incur an additional fee of £20 to cover our costs.

Consultant charges are higher to cover specialist fees.

For a more accurate estimate of our fees for your particular appointment please take a look at the app on our prices page.

Methods of payment

We accept cash and the following credit and debit cards

Sorry, we don’t accept cheques.

Cancelling or rescheduling an appointment

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment you will need to give us 48 hours notice or we will retain your deposit to cover administration and clinical costs

Insurance claims

We do not deal directly with insurance companies and will ask you to pay for your appointment and claim all or some of the cost back from your medical insurance company. Any insurance forms that need signing will need to be presented during your appointment; otherwise an additional £15 administration fee will be charged. This fee will rise to £30, if more detail apart from a date and signature is required.

Gynaecological scans are usually covered by insurance but private pregnancy scans often are not.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
